Metro and Panasonic's cold chain cooperation results in the opening of their 100th store in Hebei.
The Yanjiao membership store covers an area of nearly 40,000 square meters, with approximately 4,000 SKUs and products from nearly 60 countries worldwide. Self-owned, imported, and exclusive brands account for 40%, and this will increase to 50% in the future.
Metro has been in the Chinese market for 25 years and has established a good cooperative relationship with Panasonic Cold Chain. Leveraging its rich experience in the design of refrigeration and freezing equipment, Panasonic Cold Chain closely follows customer needs and provides Metro's Yanjiao membership store with more than 100 customized units.
Refrigerated Food
Upright air curtain cabinets are used to display refrigerated food. The double-layer air curtain design better ensures the stability and uniformity of the cabinet temperature, safeguarding food safety; the shelves are adjustable in height, fully integrating with the in-store display props, providing good display space for various sizes of goods.
Beverages and Dairy Products
The semi-high display cabinet is relatively low in height, and placing it in the middle of the store does not affect the overall transparency, while also ensuring vertical display; it has a small size and large capacity, fully cooperating with the bulk sales model.
Frozen Food
Horizontal freezers are used to display frozen food; the door model saves energy; the front glass window displays a neat and full product display, allowing customers to easily find the desired goods from a distance.
Fresh Meat
Excellent temperature performance fully guarantees the quality of meat products; the top platform can display related products such as sauces, making it convenient for customers to purchase; the cabinet uses all-stainless steel materials, which are strong, durable, and easy to clean.
