March 5th is National Learn from Lei Feng Day. Zhou Huadong, Party Secretary of Panasonic Cold Chain (Dalian) Co., Ltd., organized more than 50 company members and volunteers to carry out a garbage picking and environmental protection activity at the Daxueshan Tourism Scenic Area. On this special day, cold chain members used practical actions to practice the spirit of Lei Feng and promote traditional virtues.

At nine o'clock in the morning, the members and volunteers gathered at the Rainbow Bridge under Daxueshan Mountain. After distributing tools, they were organized by branch to proceed up the mountain, picking up litter along the way and promoting environmental protection concepts to citizens and tourists. The temperature in Dalian was very low that day, with gusts reaching level 6. However, the cold wind did not deter the members, who carefully cleaned up the garbage along the way, beautifying the city's environment with their own hands.

The greatest achievement of this activity was the inheritance of role models. Some members even brought their children to participate in the Learn from Lei Feng activity, which is very positive teaching by example for children and the next generation. In the cold weather, the children did not complain of hardship or fatigue, and were even more active in picking up garbage than the adults. Protecting the environment starts with me, starts with the young—this is the inheritance of Lei Feng's spirit, this is the power of exemplary members.
