On January 21, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Notice on the Announcement of the 2021 Green Manufacturing List," and Panasonic Cold Chain (PAPCCDL) was successfully selected for the 2021 National "Green Factory" list.

This is the second time Panasonic Cold Chain (PAPCCDL) has won an award in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection, following its receipt of the title of one of the first batch of "Green Factories" in Liaoning Province in 2018. It is also the second company within the Iceberg Group to receive the national-level Green Factory title, following Dalian Sifende Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd.

"National Green Manufacturing List" has been organized and selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology since 2017. The purpose is to implement the "14th Five-Year Plan for Green Development of Industry", strengthen the leading role of green manufacturing benchmarks. The selection process involves self-evaluation by applicant units, third-party evaluation, assessment and confirmation by local industrial and information technology authorities, expert review, and public announcement. The green manufacturing list includes green factories, green design products, green industrial parks, and green supply chain management enterprises. From 2017 to 2021, a total of six batches have been selected, with 2783 companies selected for the green factory list.

In recent years, Panasonic Cold Chain has been continuously exploring and practicing in energy conservation and environmental protection. In terms of product energy saving, 71 Panasonic Cold Chain models have been awarded "Enterprise Standard Leader," exceeding the national first-class energy consumption standard by more than 10%. At the same time, through years of technical accumulation and its unique refrigeration technology algorithm logic, Panasonic Cold Chain's EMS equipment remote management platform continuously contributes to energy saving and emission reduction for clients. In terms of factory energy saving, Panasonic Cold Chain uses a large amount of clean energy, replacing traditional heating methods with heat pumps and natural gas, making full use of natural light and LEDs to reduce lighting energy consumption, and introducing advanced automated equipment to improve production efficiency. In the future, Panasonic Cold Chain will continue to explore and practice in energy conservation and environmental protection, contributing to the national goal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality."
